LARP Adventure Camp

LARP is Live Action Role Playing Game where coaches lead the group on a story arc where they battle “monsters” (coaches) with foam swords and shields, run parkour obstacle courses narrated as Castles, Temple Ruins, and Lost Cities, and try to solve challenge games like “Human Pac-Man” and “Parkour Red Light, Green Light”. Students choose to play as 1 of 3 character classes: Warrior, Wizard, and Rogues. Each has advantages and disadvantages against different Monster types and challenge games. LARP is very immersive and encourages students to learn parkour, climbing, improv acting, real-life communication, and puzzle solving skills by listening to the various clues that the “Game Characters” say – these are often word puzzles and the games alter based of what the group says back to them. There are also hidden powerups like Spell Reversal, Slow-Time, and more.

Hollywood Camp

Our coaches that work as stunt performers in motion pictures teach students about the art of filmmaking - Students will learn how action is performed safely, how scenes are filmed, and how Green Screen is used to bring ideas to life. They will fly on wire harnesses, jump into our airbag and train flips & tricks. Students interested in theatre, filmmaking, and technical aspects of bringing movement to the screen will enjoy this camp. We'll re-create each job on a motion picture set for students to experience the various art forms of Filmmaking.

Legend of Vandora Camp

This camp is designed for previous participants who LOVED our LARP camps and take to playing the adventure game seriously – This is LARP camp 2.0 with a very immersive storyline, Higher Obstacles, Bigger Challenges and Greater Powerups like Jumpboots and Invisibility. Tougher Monsters, Greater Rewards. This camp will heavily encourage their real-life skills as the story takes place on an alien planet where the Game Character aliens do not speak English! So the group will need to come up with creative ways to decipher the puzzles as they unravel the mystery of Vandora, the Goddess of Lightning.

If your student has not experienced LARP before, we recommend they try one of our standard LARP camps or parties first before playing Legend of Vandora. This camp is intended for players who take the LARP game seriously.

Camp runs from 8:30am to 3:00pm. 2:30-3:00pm is flexible pickup.
