Enrollment Information

How is class tuition charged?

Classes at Action Arts are ongoing with no end date. Your first month is charged upon enrolling and may be a prorated rate, depending on how many weeks are left in the month you start. Going forward, tuition is billed on the first of every month until you drop the class. All families are required to be on auto-pay for monthly tuition billing and you must notify us in advance to drop your student, see how below. ​

Prices

Once per week classes are $140/month. 2nd classes for the same student are $10 off.

Twice per week classes are $270/month.

Siblings: For additional children in the same family, once per week classes are $130/month.

We have no annual registration fees.

How do I drop/cancel a class?

If you need to stop classes or cannot attend the same day and time anymore, a cancellation request is required to drop your student from their class at least 15 days before the end of the month.

You may notify us by cancelling in the online portal, giving a written drop notice to our office or emailing us to drop your student before the 16th day of the current month, which will cancel them starting the following month.

Please note: All fees are nonrefundable and WE DO NOT DROP STUDENTS BASED ON ATTENDANCE in order to hold that student's spot in the class. Therefore, we recommend submitting a request in advance, if you know when you'd like to drop a class.

Are prices the same for months with 3 classes and months with 5 classes?

Yes, Action Arts enrolls as an ongoing program with an equal monthly payment structure. Though some months will have fewer days for your class, some months will have more, resulting in approximately 47 classes for each day through the year. You can find our year calendar below, subject to change without notification.​​

Do you offer drop-in options?

Adult classes have drop-in offerings, however,  children's classes require enrollment. 

To drop-in for adults: purchase a single Class Pass or a 4 Class Pass in the gym.
To Register: once you have a pass, sign in to our portal, in your student profile select the pass, then select the class you'd like to take.

Do you offer make-up classes?

Yes! Action Arts offers one make up class per month. The make up must be with the same coach as the class your student is enrolled in AND must be scheduled online or with our front desk. This ensures that we do not exceed student to teacher ratios.

Please talk to our front desk if there is no way to schedule a make up with the same coach which your student currently attends class (i.e. if the coach teaches on Monday and Wednesday and your student already takes class at Action Arts on both of those days).

Missed classes will not result in refunds. Make up tokens are forfeited if they are not used within 1 month of the missed class.

Do you offer trials?

While Action Arts doesn't offer single trial classes, we also don't charge a registration fee, so there are no fees on top of the class tuition.
The minimum length for enrollment is 1 month,
so that we give the student a fair chance to experience everything the class has to offer, and then from there, you can make an educated decision about if they like it and want to continue or are not as interested in it as they thought. 

 

Reason being is that sometimes, perhaps a class has been working on a skill for a while, and has finally put the individual moves together into one big move - and then one day there would be a new student for single trial class and the student sees what the class has been working on the past 3 weeks and thinks, "that's too hard" and decides they don't want to do the class - when that might not have been the case 3 weeks earlier, or even one week later, etc. So we like for our new students to try out 1 month of class to really get to see the range of things we do in classes and then make an informed decision from there.


If you would like to try class for 1 month, you may enroll your student AND submit a cancellation request to drop your student from the class at the end of one month. 

Please note: This is a regular enrollment, therefore a cancellation request is REQUIRED to drop your student from their class. We highly recommend submitting the drop request along with your enrollment so that you are not charged for additional months of class. 

If we're enrolled, Can we try a different class type?

Yes! If you are actively enrolled and your student has interest in parkour instead of gymnastics or vice versa, we can register them in another class  in addition to their current class to help them decide which class they'd like to be in. This additional class will be charged at a drop in rate. If the other class your student is interested in is full, your student would have to join the waitlist and then do this trial when it is their turn to join the class.
